In a world where eco-sustainability plays an increasingly central role, Bplus has embarked on an ambitious and heartfelt initiative aimed at planting trees in various parts of the world. This project, created in collaboration with Treedom, the leading organization enabling remote tree planting, represents our tangible and ongoing commitment to environmental care. It marks a new step towards reducing CO₂ emissions, the main driver of the greenhouse effect.

Through the "Forest" project, we not only aim to actively combat climate change but also to send a message of hope and renewal. This initiative aligns perfectly with our vision of eco-sustainability.

Since December 2023, we have planted 271 trees of various species—banana, cacao, pomegranate, safou, lemon, jackfruit, orange, passion fruit, guava, and papaya—across six different countries worldwide, including Italy. Of these trees, 25 were donated to our collaborators, while the remaining 246 were gifted to dental professionals, thanks to the support of eight major companies in the dental sector that partnered with us on this adventure: 3Shape, IPD, BioHorizons Camlog, Dürr Dental, Voco, Umbra, and Zeiss.

The project stands out for its innovative nature, offering participants the chance to monitor their tree’s progress from planting onward, with images, geolocation, and a dedicated webpage to follow the story and updates of the initiative.

Our forest

Every reforestation initiative has unique characteristics that allow it to bring specific benefits to the environment. Trees, by absorbing CO₂ from the atmosphere and storing it in their wooden structures, play a crucial role in reducing the concentration of this greenhouse gas. The longer their lifespan, the greater the impact. Currently, our efforts are contributing to the absorption of 4.8 tons of CO₂ and we’re just getting started! The project’s goal is to plant many more trees, not only delivering environmental benefits but also creating tangible social and economic advantages. The philosophy behind this initiative is to build sustainable ecosystems while supporting thousands of farmers in covering the initial costs of planting new trees. Over time, this ensures food sovereignty and income opportunities.

Who is Treedom?

Treedom is the world’s only online platform that allows people to plant a tree remotely and track its growth online. Since its founding in 2010 in Florence, more than 4,000,000 trees have been planted across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Italy. Since 2014, Treedom has been part of the Certified B Corporations network, distinguished by high environmental and social performance.
